Visit to the Baird Trail

Tried to think of something to do that John and I would do if he were with me on my March Break. I took a yoga class ( he would not attend this) at Aruma in Lanark then booked a massage ( he would not do this) for the next day. After my massage I went for a hike at the Baird Trail (he would do this!) outside of Lanark. Inspired by the fact that it was the first sunny day in a long time I decided to do the hour loop. This was Tuesday of the break and I booked another session to take yoga on Thursday. When I attended the class on Thursday I saw my first critter of the season…a skunk outside the Aruma building. During our session there was also a huge overhang of ice suspending from the edge of the building…it fell mid session with a loud bang during our savasana and we were startled but happy that spring had arrived!
